Have a Heart was recently approved for a grant from the Knights of Columbus in order to purchase new items for the Adult Day Program. We received a nice new flatware set and holder, stainless steel cookware set, kitchen tool 16-piece set, a new iPod dock/CD Player Radio and a large, activity area rug.
A big thank you goes out to everyone who helped assemble and install the new cabinets and counter top in the main office building for Respite and Adult Day Program use.
With the mild winter, we are already envisioning great outdoor ideas and activities. The Adult Day Program is in the midst of garden and landscape planning. We are looking to grow a multitude of fresh, healthy foods as well as spruce up the property with flowers and landscaping. If you or anyone you know would like to dig in and help beautify the property and grow our very own food, let us know.
