Have A Heart, Inc. in River Falls is excited to welcome adults with developmental and physical disabilities to two themed Respite Care Days this January 2026. These special Saturdays offer caregivers a well-deserved break while providing participants with a day of social connection, creativity, and themed excitement in a warm, supportive environment.
Saturday, January 17, 2026 – Cozy Cabin Retreat
8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Have A Heart – River Falls, WI
Escape the winter chill and join us for a day of rustic relaxation! Our Cozy Cabin theme is all about warmth, comfort, and the peaceful vibes of a woodland lodge. Activities will include:
Lumberjack Welcome: A morning social to kick off our cabin adventure.
Nature-Inspired Crafts: Creating pinecone art and rustic cabin decorations.
Warm Hearth Snacks: Enjoying "fireside" treats and cozy refreshments.
Cabin Games: Indoor "campfire" storytelling and classic board games.
Relaxation Station: A calming session with nature sounds and soft blankets.
Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite flannel shirts, fuzzy socks, or cozy sweaters!

Get ready to hit the "ice" (indoors!) as we celebrate one of the North’s favorite winter traditions. Our Hockey Day is packed with team spirit and high-energy fun:
Team Spirit Kickoff: Choose your colors and get ready for the "big game."
Fan Zone Crafts: Making custom pennants and cheering accessories.
Concession Stand Favorites: Stadium-style snacks and a hot cocoa bar.
Indoor "Power Play" Games: Floor hockey drills and team-building challenges.
Game Highlights: Watching classic sports moments and enjoying social time.
Wear your favorite team jersey, sports hat, or team colors to show your spirit!
