Get ready to hula your way into a day of sunshine, smiles, and tropical fun at Have A Heart’s Luau-Themed Respite Care Day on Saturday, April 26, 2025! Designed especially for adults with physical and developmental disabilities, this vibrant, island-inspired event brings the spirit of the tropics right to River Falls.
From 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., participants will enjoy a full day of engaging activities, new friendships, and laid-back island vibes in a supportive and welcoming environment.
🌸 What’s on the Luau Lineup?
Tropical Crafts
The day kicks off with a splash of creativity! Participants can make their own flower leis, decorate tiki masks, and create colorful island-themed art to bring home.
Hula Dancing & Island Music
The rhythm of the islands will be in full swing with fun music and dancing. Whether you're busting out your best hula or simply swaying to the beat, everyone’s invited to move and groove!
Luau Games & Prizes
No luau is complete without some friendly competition! Enjoy beach ball challenges, limbo contests, coconut bowling, and more—all adapted to be fun and accessible for all.
Delicious Hawaiian-Inspired Snacks
Take a break and enjoy tropical treats like fruit kabobs, pineapple bites, and refreshing mocktails served in festive cups. It’s a tasty escape to paradise!
