Summer Camp Mission:

Have a Heart believes in inclusion, diversity, and the ability of all individuals to express themselves in their individual ways. At our adult summer day camp program, our mission is to create a nurturing environment where every camper thrives, no matter their physical and developmental disABILITIES.

At the heart of our camp is the commitment to empower, inspire, and celebrate the strengths of every participant, creating a memorable and enriching summer experience.

Camp Have A Heart…The Details

Times: 10 a.m. to noon during scheduled camp weeks.

Pricing Per Weekly Camp: The pricing of the Summer Camp per week is $125.

Scholarships: Through the generosity of donors, there are some scholarships available for campers. Scholarships are based on need and availability. Ask Have A Heart staff for details and make note of it on the Summer Camp Intake Form.

Intake Form: Each camper is required to complete an intake form to ensure a safe and positive experience. This information is crucial in tailoring activities to individual needs and ensuring proper care.

Payment and Registration: Payment is due at the time of registration. Registration can be done through the phone 715-425-7754, Email Us, or mail us the Summer Camp Intake Form with payment to our mailing address: Have A Heart, ATTN: Summer Camp, W10356 State Rd 29, River Falls, WI 54022.

Payment: If you are mailing in a check, include the filled-out Intake Form. Make the check out to Have A Heart and reference Camp Have a Heart in the memo of the check.

  • Arts and Crafts for Summer Camp

    June 24-June 28, 2024: Arts and Crafts Camp

    Have A Heart Day Campers will develop their creativity through art activities that encourage fine motor skills, sensory play, and creativity with clay, painting, jewelry-making, art from nature, paper spinners, glow jars, flowerpot decorations, abstract art, rock painting, and more.

    July 8-12, 2024: Music Camp

    Come and explore your artistic passion enabling our campers to be creative, confident, and to develop their decision making abilities through music expression. Music broadens range of interaction and connection through improvisation, receptive music expression, and re-creative music formation.

    July 15-19, 2024: Movement and Creative Expression Camp

    Our campers use this week to focus on expressing themselves through movement, using verbal or non-verbal expression. This camp blends arts and crafts with adaptive techniques, offering a variety of inclusive activities such as tactile art, adaptive music sessions, and drama, encouraging self-expression for all abilities.

    July 22-26, 2024: Adaptive Sports Camp

    Enjoy a week of movement and expression through an adaptive sports camp. Our campers can make friends, build skills, and embrace the joy of teamwork. These activities empower our campers with diverse abilities to engage in physical activity and enjoy the benefits of sportsmanship. Everyone can participate and succeed – it’s all about fun, friendship, and the love of the game!

    July 29-August 2, 2024: Outdoor Activities Camp

    Our campers will embark on an exciting outdoor adventure at our camp designed for all abilities! Campers can enjoy activities like adaptive hiking, nature exploration, outdoor arts and crafts, sensory-friendly gardening, nature music, swings, and hammocks. Our camp fosters friendship, builds confidence, and ensures everyone can experience the joy of the great outdoors in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

    August 5-9, 2024: “Friendship Fiesta” Camp

    A fun camp celebrating the theme of friendship through inclusive activities, accessible cooking classes, and adaptive dance sessions, promoting cultural awareness, friendship, and mutual understanding. The activities are adaptive to the campers’ abilities and can include theatre activities (verbal and non-verbal), team building exercises, water play, storytelling circles, friendship picnics, music jams, outdoor activities, arts and crafts activities, and adaptive sports.
