Have A Heart, Inc. in River Falls is thrilled to invite adults with developmental and physical disabilities to our themed Respite Care Days this March 2026. These Saturdays are designed to provide a vibrant social outlet for participants and a restorative break for caregivers in our inclusive, community-focused space.
Saturday, March 7, 2026 – Lucky to Be Us
8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Have A Heart – River Falls, WI
We’re celebrating friendship, community, and the "luck" of being together! This St. Patrick’s-inspired day focuses on gratitude and the gold we find in our social connections. Activities will include:
"Pot of Gold" Welcome: A morning meet-and-greet to share what we are grateful for.
Lucky Charms Crafts: Designing personalized shamrocks and "lucky" bracelets.
Green Ribbon Treats: Enjoying festive green snacks and a "shamrock shake" bar.
Find the Clover Scavenger Hunt: An interactive search for hidden treasures around the center.
Celtic Rhythms: A lively session of music and group movement.
Participants are encouraged to wear green or anything that makes them feel lucky!
Saturday, March 21, 2026 – Spring Has Sprung
🕣 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM 📍 Have A Heart – River Falls, WI
Say goodbye to winter and hello to a fresh start! We are celebrating the first full day of Spring with a colorful, garden-themed celebration of growth and new beginnings. The day will feature:
Garden Kickoff: A morning social surrounded by bright, floral decorations.
Bloom & Grow Crafts: Planting "indoor gardens" and painting colorful flower pots.
Spring Picnic Lunch: Enjoying fresh, seasonal refreshments together.
Butterfly Wing Games: Light-hearted group activities and "pollination" relay races.
Nature Film Matinee: A relaxing nature documentary or short film to end the day.
Wear your brightest spring colors or floral patterns to welcome the new season!
